Gallery Chryssothemis presents the 22nd solo painting exhibition of Nikos Oikonomidis
“Chryssothemis: 30 Years After”.
Opening Day: Friday March 9th 2018 at 19.30.
Nikos Oikonomidis states about the exhibition:
«30 years have already passed from my first solo exhibition in Chryssothemis Gallery in 1988. 21 solo and many group exhibitions later, I return again in the same gallery for an Anniversary exhibition. And also 50 years have passed from the first painting I created on March 1968. So I have published a book titled “50/30” with about 320 paintings from a collection of 5875 that I have painted all these 50 years.
In this exhibition I will exhibit about 30 paintings(acrylics, oils, pastels etc.) that heve never been exhibited before.»
On Monday March 19th at 19.30 , an event will take place in the gallery in which :
Tasos Goudelis, writer
Theodosis Pylarinos, professor of Ionian University
and Nikos Oikonomidis, painter
will talk about the book 50/30 of N.Oikonomidis.
Open to the public until: Saturday March 31st 2018
